If your coming to Sydney and have not found a friendly local to lodge with, or are just looking for a place to lay your head...you have a wide range of choice.

From budget to five star, Sydney has it all. If you want to try the high end of the scale, then the great service and lodgings at the Hotel Intercontinental are worth a look. This establishment has fantastic views of the harbour and Sydney icons, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge as well as some of the best restaurants around. For an inner city choice, try the Westin Hotel in Martin Place... it's extremely lavish and VERY Gay friendly. There are other's including the Sheraton on the Park, where you can stay in rooms previously occupied by Michael Jackson or US President Bill Clinton. All of Sydney's high end accommodation give you all the facilities you could ever want and more.

For five star apartment style accommodation, try the Quay West establishment... it's pool has sky high views of the north of the city over the harbour and allows you to have a home away from home. The W Hotel on the wharf at Wooloomooloo is also a unique experience, and a great place to grab a top cocktail.

Sydney also has a huge range of Bed and Breakfasts, boutique hotels and standard hotels which offer above the norm service for a great price. Along Wentworth Avenue, just 100 meters from Oxford Street, you will find the Travelodge. Great rooms, friendly staff and just a stumble away from Sydney's golden mile. The DeVere Hotel in Potts Point gives you a trendy and comfortable stay, with all of the mod cons at a price that would want to make you live there permanently. The DeVere is another establishment that is extremely gay friendly and will provide to your needs 24 hours through it's manned reception. The Ibis Hotel at Darling Harbour offers medium priced accommodation, and is located centrally to all the must see tourist places.

A few serviced apartments are available if you want your stay to be more like home. These places are laid out with entertaining areas, separate bedrooms and fully operational kitchens... so you can make breakfast for the special someone you just met... a suggested look in is the Medina Serviced Apartments, located in the heart of Surry Hills.

There are digs that have been created for specific markets, such as the Oasis on Flinders... a B&B that caters for the Gay Male Naturist... so if you want to expose your bits all day long, then check out this place... it's a beautiful building and the service is great and friendly. The Manor House is a up-market Gay boutique hotel offering 20 individually decorated rooms. They feature ornate high ceilings, beautiful antique furniture and fittings. A large glss atrium encloses the courtyard and plunge pool, making it a unique place to enjoy your complimentary continental breakfast.

They also support the local lesbian and gay community at every opportunity they can. The Manor House is located 86 Flinders Street.

Resort style accommodation is not offered in the city, but you can find some great resorts in the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley. The Blue Mountains is a day trip or romantic weekend getaway with many different places to chose from.

The Carrington Hotel is a religious experience, it is one of the oldest Hotels around and is smack bang in the centre of town. It has great rooms with many cosy little alcoves where you can sit and relax your time away.

The Hydro Majestic Hotel is also another long standing hotel that has recently been completely refurbished and is now to die for inside and out!

Then comes the budget accommodation... shared showers, bathrooms and bedrooms, you can grab a rest space for next to nicks. Most of Sydney's Backpacker accommodation is located in Kings Cross... there is also the Super YHA Backpacker Lodge at Central Train Station...
