As legendary supermodel of the world, RuPaul has done it all. She took drag into the homes & hearts of the mainstream, with her catchphrase, ‘Everybody say love!” Starting life as a club kid in New York, she burst onto the charts with the worldwide smash, ‘Supermodel’ – which aired around the clock on MTV.
Ru followed up with a string of #1 dance hits, then duets with the likes of Elton John, Diana Ross, Lil’ Kim & Martha Wash, while branching out into all forms of media. Big screen roles included Spike Lee’s 'Crooklyn', 'To Wong Foo', 'But I’m A Cheerleader', 'Another Gay Sequel', & 'Who Is Cletis Tout?' Ru scored her own talk show, along with cameos on 'Sabrina The Teenage Witch', 'Ellen', 'All My Children' & 'Ugly Betty'. She was the first face of MAC Cosmetics, released her own line of dolls, two best selling books, & was immortalised with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds.
