3) Have a romantic night in a Sydney queer owned hotel…
4) Try a Patrone XO cocktail at Vanilla Room, Leichardt whilst listening to the tunes of the incredible DJ Issy.
5) Check out a cool and arty exhibition at the TAP Gallery, Darlinghurst - a big supporter of the GLBTI Community.
6) Try a hazelnut hot chocolate at the old 191, Coco Cubano on Taylors Square - they are del-ish-i-oso!
7) Get yourself Ink'd with a one of a kind tattoo at Shanghai Charlies on Cleveland Street, Surry Hills… these guys are the bomb and winter is a great time to get a tat!
8) Browse through and buy a winter wardrobe at Premonition - these local Aussie designers create some fab clothes that are easy on your purse strings.
9) Tune in to Queer Out West Radio each Monday night.
10) Check out the yummy new shoes at Louboutins in Westfield - Pitt Street Mall.
11) Check out a Mary Kiani Gig at Madam Fling Flongs, Newtown - she is a brilliant singer, chart topping international superstar and this is a great way to hear her in a very intimate setting.
12) Have a game of trivia with the one and only, Portia Turbo at Carriageworks.
13) Swish into the IVY Bar on George Street for the very special winter edition of I Remember House! One of the best soiree's and dance-a-ma-thingies out there!
14) Get inside and see some history… the Australian Museum is a block or two from Oxford Street, so slip on in and check it out! Its even free to get in.
15) See El Circo at Slide. If you have not seen this meal meets performance experience, then head on in during the winter months. You will need to book ahead though.
16) Pick up your beer loving mates and head to the Lowenbrau Keller in The Rocks for their Christmas in July!
17) The beach may be the last place you want to be in winter, but this year, check out the Bondi Winter Magic Festival
18) The city wont be outdone for winter festival activities either - you can take a lap around the custom made ice rink outside St. Mary's Cathederal. Festival is free, ice skating costs approx $20. then more for skate rental…
19) Buy your favourite Oxford Street identities a drink at the end of July, when they finish fundraising for the DRY JULY campaign - these folks will need a congratulations - or before then - why not donate to them!
20) See Hairspray The Musical
21) Have a bite to eat and catch up with a group of friends at Hernandez Cafe… the food is fab and a lovely place to meet your mates.
22) Try a cheap pizza at Hugos Lounge in the Cross.
23) Try a heart warming dinner at the restaurant in the Taxi Club on Flinders street, then check out the venue afterwards for a drink and show!
24) Listen to (and buy) the fab music of gay artist, Damien Mancell
25) Brave the cold and get yourself to one of the Equal Marriage Rights rallies. Show your support for the CHOICE to be able to marry your loved one.
26) Take part in the BIG GAY WEEKEND, its replacing the iconic SLEAZE BALL this year, but we recommend the biggest event of the weekend - DAYWASH!
27) Have a squizz around the Bookshop, Darlinghurst. They have an incredible selection of books form the queer world, plus racks of DVDs and CDs - a lazy day could be spent in there racking up your credit card bill.
28) Stay inside and watch the videos or view the photo galleries on Guidetogay.com
29) Get your dayclub on at the infamous RISING Dayclub.
30) Enjoy the view of Sydney Harbour from the comfort of a warm and delicious restaurant at Wildfire at the Overseas Passenger Terminal.
