It has been reported that an alleged "same-sex romp" in a Georgia, USA college library has led to a felony charge for a young woman.
Eighteen-year-old Jessica Alaine Bass was allegedly caught having sex with Nakita Holt, 22, in a Columbus State University library study room.
A University police officer who says he caught the women was then reportedly offered $USD100 by Bass to not report the incident.
On Tuesday a Muscogee County grand jury slapped Bass with felony bribery and misdemeanor public indecency charges. The community is in uproar over the incident with many claiming that a heterosexual couple would not have been charged, but asked to "move on".
It’s not clear if a heterosexual woman would be facing felony bribery charges if she offered $100 to a university cop.
Holt still faces misdemeanor indecency charges.
