It takes a forward thinking Musical theatre company to bring a cast of Sydney's premiere performers together for a very special project and we couldn't be more excited.
Neglected Musicals - is a special project company that will be bringing lucky Australian's the chance to see special international productions of plays, musicals and more that may not get picked up by the mainstream producers (as mainly because they might not appeal to seniors tour bus groups) but are sensational none the less.
The reason we are excited is because the upcoming production has just announced the cast for NICK AND NORA - and its stars two of our favourite actors in the whole world, the incredible JAMES LEE and MATT YOUNG.
Not only a fantastic presence in front of the crowds and cameras, James Lee is the incredible creative force behind many a sensational Mardi Gras show - ranging from Kelly Rowland and Wynter Gordan (to name a couple from recent history) he is a creative powerhouse and a total sweetheart… and boy can this boy sing!
Matt Young is the musical and acting equivalent of a gourmet salad… lots of yummy ingredients all expertly joined together by an expert nutritionist and delivered to you with a golden spoon.
Matt is a tornado of talent. From TV to international productions - he really does steal the limelight in whatever production he is involved in…
Both stars join a great cast including Octavia Barron-Martin, Blake Erickson, Chris Horsey, Debora Krisak, Josie Lane, Kate Parry, John Rowe and Tom Shannon.
Nick And Nora - The Musical is based on characters from the Dashiell Hammett novel - The Thin Man, and will be playing at the Darlinghurst Theatre, August 2011.
Not seen on stage ANYWHERE since its original Broadway run, Nick and Nora is heading to Sydney and will blow your socks off. 50% of the tickets for this production have already been snapped up - so you better get in quick.
